Key West Fishing 05-11-16

Would you like a variety of angling options while on vacation? If you do, you should join our veteran charter captains for a fishing excursion this week. This time in the spring, anglers have a number of fabulous fish species to chase. On the Atlantic side of Key West, both Mahi Mahi and Sailfish are migrating past the Keys in the Gulf Stream. Lately, we've hooked larger Mahi, up to fifty pounds, at the color change.

If you book a full day with us, you can choose to split your day by fishing offshore to start the day and go angling inshore in the afternoon. We've been nabbing Tarpon, weighing up to one hundred and thirty pounds, in the channels of Key West Harbor.

Permit spawn near the rocky reefs and shallow wrecks near Key West this time of year. This is the best time to go angling for these excellent sport fish.

The weather has been beautiful in the region lately, so join our experienced charter captains for a day of calm seas, sunshine, and ample fishing action.

We look forward to seeing you in Key West,

Captain Damon Santelli
